Two goals each from Charlie Wellings and Chloe Craig were more than enough to give Fran Alonso’s Celtic FC Women an opening day win at the Balmoral stadium in Aberdeen. It was an exciting game against the SWPL2 Champions who look like being a great addition to the top league.

Next up for Celtic is a home tie against Champions Glasgow City next Sunday at the Penny Cars Stadium in Airdrie. As large a Celtic support as possible is require as a second win of the season will be hugely significant. COYGIG
