Trevor Lawrence won a pair of Georgia state high school football championships at Cartersville High School where he became the nation’s top ranked prospect but his took his considerable talents across the border to Clemson to play his college ball.

The 2021 NFL No.1 overall pick is still true to his school, showing up in Charlotte Saturday night to watch a top five tilt between the Tigers and Georgia.

The Bulldogs came out on top 10-3 in a defensive donnybrook and Lawrence apparently had to pay up for Georgia’s win.

Lawrence donned red sweatpants and a white Georgia 40th anniversary championship hoodie in the Jaguars locker room.

Terry Godwin, the former Georgia wide receiver, posted video of it on his Instagram account.

Someone chanted: “SEC! SEC!” while another teammate said laughing: “You look good in red and black, man. I like it. I like it.”

Godwin is on the Jaguars’ reserve/injured list. Another former Georgia player, cornerback Tyson Campbell, was a second round draft pick this year.

“I still ride with my guys!” Lawrence responded on Instagram.
