  1. Launch the Netflix app on your iPhone or iPad and start watching the desired content first.

  2. Tap anywhere on the screen while you’re watching content to bring up the playback controls. Here, you’ll find the “Speed” option with the current playback speed indicated in brackets. Tap on it to proceed.

  3. Now, just use the slider to adjust the playback speed. Moving the slider to the right would increase the speed, whereas moving it to the left would slow the video down.

By default, the playback speed is set to 1x just as you’d expect. You can increase the playback speed up to 1.5x and decrease it up to 0.5x.
