The couple said in a statement to People, "We are so overjoyed to finally meet our son. He is already loved so much by family and friends and we can't wait to introduce him to his other siblings."

The "WAP" rapper and the Migos member also share a 3-year-old daughter, Kulture Kiari Cephus, whom they welcomed in July 2018. Offset has three children–sons Kody, 6, and Jordan, 11, and daughter Kalea, 6–from previous relationships.

Cardi revealed her pregnancy last June at the 2021 BET Awards. She made the surprise announcement while joining Migos onstage, and later posted a series of maternity photos on her Instagram. For the performance, the "I Like It" rapper wore an embellished catsuit with a cutout revealing her pregnant belly.

The "Bickenhead" rapper also posted separate maternity photos featuring Offset and Kulture. She captioned an image of Offset cradling her belly, "We listened to each other, communicated, prayed and then God blessed us and our family with another little blessing. Our home feels so blissful and very busy 😩but we are ready and so happy!! Thank you soo much everyone for the congrats and well wishes 🤗."

She also shared a picture of Kulture touching her belly while she and her daughter wore Grecian dresses and turbans. In the caption, she shared her hopes for her children's relationship, comparing the pair to herself and her sister, Hennessy Carolina.

"I just know these two will love each other soo much and argue soo much since they're 3 years apart...just like me and Henny 😩. But one thing for sure is they'll have each other’s back like no one else ever will 🙏🏽🙏🏽," she wrote.
