During Sunday night’s AEW All Out pay-per-view event, Chris Jericho defeated MJF in a grudge match via submission as he forced MJF to tap out to the Walls of Jericho. If Jericho lost the match, he would have been forced to retire from active in-ring competition.
The match will reportedly cap off a feud between the two men that began back in March, when Jericho tried to kick MJF out of the Inner Circle only to be attacked by MJF’s new stable The Pinnacle. The rivalry has continued non-stop since, culminating in the Labors of Jericho which led into this match.
