KC Chiefs vs. Browns: Key injuries to watch for Cleveland for Week 1

As the K.C. Chiefs prepare to host the Cleveland Browns for the season opening game, both teams are dealing with some injuries that could potentially impact the outcome of the game, depending on how things play out.

For the Chiefs, Willie Gay Jr is dealing with a toe injury while some other reserve linemen have been ailing as well. Tyrann Mathieu is also hoping to be clear of the reserve/COVID list by the time the game is played.

As for the Browns, with one week left to go before they’ll fly to K.C., there are a handful of important injuries to monitor as they begin practice for the game everyone’s been talking about all offseason in Cleveland—none bigger than that of Odell Beckham Jr. We already looked at his injury update and overall importance on Friday, but it’s important to note it here as well as a major factor in the game.
