Marco Reus celebrated his return to the Germany starting XI with a goal, while Jude Bellingham starred for England on what was a night to remember for the Borussia Dortmund players on international duty.

Marco Reus returned to the Germany starting XI for the first time since October 2019. And he helped them earn an impressive 6-0 win over Armenia by scoring a goal and setting up another one for Serge Gnabry. It was a strong performance from the Borussia Dortmund captain, who continued his impressive early season form by pulling the strings for Germany from his attacking midfield role. Mahmoud Dahoud was an unused substitute once again.

Jude Bellingham made his first competitive start for England as they cruised to a 4-0 win over Andorra. The young midfielder ran the show for his national team and created a game high three chances for his teammates. He also helped set up the opening goal with a stunning turn and pass in the build-up.

Manuel Akanji kept a vital clean sheet for Switzerland as they held Italy to a goalless draw. Switzerland are now four points behind the European Champions in Group C but have two games in hand. The winners of each group will automatically qualify for next year’s FIFA World Cup.
