RHOA’s Falynn Pina slammed for posting ‘old’ pic with NeNe Leakes so fans think she partied days after husband’s death

REAL Housewives Of Atlanta's Falynn Pina was slammed for posting an 'old' pic with NeNe Leakes so fans thought she partied days after her husband Gregg's death.

Gregg lost his fight to colon cancer on September 1 after first being diagnosed in 2018, the family confirmed.

The timing of the photo looked as though NeNe partied just days after her husband's death alongside RHOA guest star Falynn and her partner DeMorris Marable.

She looked glam in a white vest top that showed off her toned figure and a pair of shiny taupe joggers as she hugged her pals in the photo.

Pregnant Falynn, who was glowing in the shot she posted to Instagram, wrote a heart-felt caption alongside it.

She said: "Thank you @neneleakes for having us last night! We had an amazing time and will definitely be back! -May God continue to give you strength during this difficult time. Our prayers are with you and your family."

Yet fans were convinced it was an old photo and slammed her for posting it.

NeNe was pictured wearing the same outfit three weeks ago at the venue.

One wrote: "This photo is from August 9th. Sending her prayers and strength."

Another said: "Why would you post something from a month ago trying to make people think this was from Last night."

Others praised NeNe for her strength, and one wrote: "Happy to see you guys supporting NeNe."

HONORING GREGG

Meanwhile NeNe and Gregg’s son Brentt, 22, threw a party at their family lounge to honor his late father.

The celebration took place just hours after Gregg passed away from cancer.

Brentt documented the bash- which was held at The Linnethia Lounge- on his Instagram Story on Wednesday.

One post showed off a chalkboard sign with a drawing of Gregg, while someone wrote: “Celebrating the life of Gregg Leakes.”

He then shared a post from the lounge’s Instagram account promoting a karaoke night in honor of Gregg, while Brentt added: “Come celebrate my dads life tonight. Ima be there and Ima probably cry.”

He also promised to buy those in attendance Casamigos tequila.

A clip followed of Brentt dancing and singing as he celebrated his father’s life at the event.

TRAGIC LOSS

Gregg lost his fight to cancer after first being diagnosed in 2018, the family confirmed.

A spokesperson told E! News: "Today the Leakes family is in deep pain with a broken heart.

"After a long battle with cancer, Gregg Leakes has passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by all of his children, very close loved ones, and wife NeNe Leakes.

"We ask that you pray for peace and strength over their family & allow them to mourn in private during this very, very difficult time."

NeNe, 53, and Gregg first tied the knot in 1997, before divorcing in 2011.

However, the pair reunited and once again walk down the aisle in 2013.

He worked as a real estate investor in the Atlanta, Georgia area for over 20 years and was able to accumulate an estimated net worth of $4 million.

Gregg is the father to six children, Denton, Dexter, Katrina, Daryl, Damian, and Brentt.
