WWE Extreme Rules 2021! This PPV is still three weeks away. Although there are plenty of contrived storylines being built, there are some potential show-stealing matches on this card that will be thrilling to watch. The following will provide five other matches that could be added to the card in the following weeks. According to WWE’s official website, the WWE has already announced Becky Lynch (c) vs. Bianca Belair for the SmackDown Women’s Title to take place at this PPV.

With that being said, it’s now time to preview and predict 5 matches will be added to WWE Extreme Rules 2021.

WWE Extreme Rules 2021 is scheduled to take place on Sept 26, 2021, live on the WWE Network via Peacock. Here are 5 matches will be added to this PPV.

Usos (c) vs. Street Profits [SmackDown Tag Titles]

After aiding Finn Balor in his feud with The Bloodline two weeks ago on SmackDown, the Street Profits defeated Usos in a championship contender’s match to earn a future title opportunity. Despite the inconclusive finish to that match, this ongoing feud will inevitably be the SmackDown Tag Team Title match for this PPV. As for the winner, Usos will retain the titles because the Bloodline is just getting started with their indomitable run as a unit while Street Profits will very likely be traded back to Raw in the upcoming draft.

Prediction: Usos

RKBro (c) vs. AJ Styles & Omos [Raw Tag Titles]

A tag team turmoil match was scheduled for this week’s Raw, where the winners will get a future tag title opportunity against RKBro. AJ and Omos have been teasing their rematch for the tag titles in the past few weeks. Since those seeds have already been planted, this tag turmoil match is likely a means for them to regain their momentum after losing the tag titles at SummerSlam and to solidify their spots as the top contenders for the titles. As for the winners, RKBro will retain because it would be too soon for this very popular babyface tag team to drop the belts.

Prediction: RKBro

Damian Priest (c) vs. Drew McIntyre [U.S. Title]

At WWE Extreme Rules 2021, it is expected that Damian Priest will defend the United States Championship because a U.S. Title Number One Contender’s Match was scheduled for this week’s Raw between Drew McIntyre and Sheamus. Priest had retained the U.S. Title against McIntyre and Sheamus in a tripe threat match after scoring a huge pinfall victory over McIntyre. Thanks to WWE’s proclivity of implementing 50:50 booking, it is likely that McIntyre will defeat Sheamus on Raw, turn heel, and dethrone Priest to win the one title that has eluded his career.

Prediction: Drew McIntyre

Kingsuke Nakamura (c) vs. Apollo Crews [IC Title]

Every time Kingsuke Nakamura wins a match with Rick BOOGS on SmackDown, the camera shifts to Apollo Crews in the backstage area. Apollo Crews is basically staking his claim for his IC Title rematch and he will very likely get it at the PPV Nakamura is known for winning. Indeed, Nakamura has a 3-0 winning streak at Extreme Rules. Since Nakamura’s contract will expire in October, it is likely that a petty booking decision is in order to kill the streak and take away the IC Title from Nakamura. This would mean that it’s take-back season for Apollo Crews.

Prediction: Apollo Crews

Charlotte Flair (c) vs. Alexa Bliss [Raw Women’s Title]

WWE Extreme Rules 2021 is set to take place in Columbus, Ohio, which is Alexa Bliss’ hometown. After Charlotte retains the Raw Women’s Title against Nia Jax on this week’s Raw, she will revisit her feud with Alexa Bliss, who confronted her on the Raw after SummerSlam. Bliss will make her hometown proud once again by dethroning Charlotte to become the new Raw Women’s Champion. Now only will WWE stat pad Charlotte’s brief title reigns some more but it will deliver the payoff for Bliss’ gimmick that has been protected for the past year and a half.

Prediction: Alexa Bliss
