One of the biggest winners of the NBA offseason was the Detroit Pistons. They won the 2021 NBA Draft Lottery, which meant having the first pick in the draft.
With that selection, they made the no-brainer choice of selecting Cade Cunningham out of Oklahoma State.
Cunningham gives the Pistons a potential face of the franchise going into the future. He is a multi-dimensional, two-way player standing 6’8” that can do virtually anything on the basketball court.
Detroit will be happy to have him, as general manager Troy Weaver has done a great job overhauling the roster in his time with the organization.

Detroit and Grant agreed to a three-year, $60 million deal, which has proven to be a great decision for both sides. Grant performed well and the Detroit Pistons were rewarded for believing in him.
