PASADENA — Quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson moved ahead of Troy Aikman and Tommy Maddox for sixth place on UCLA’s all-time passing list.

He passed Aikman’s mark (5,298 yard) after connecting with tight end Greg Dulcich for a 75-yard touchdown with 12:20 left in the second quarter Saturday.

The touchdown was the first play of the Bruins’ first possession of the second quarter, tying the game at 7. Thompson-Robinson completed a 36-yard pass to receiver Kazmeir Allen on the opening drive against LSU to tie Aikman.

Thompson-Robinson entered Saturday’s game needing just 37 yards to move up the list. Cade McNown (1995-98) leads all UCLA quarterbacks with 10,708 yards.

Thompson-Robinson’s touchdown to Dulcich also breaks the quarterback’s tie with Aikman for seventh on the all-time career touchdown list.

Thompson-Robinson’s second touchdown pass of the night, a 14-yard touchdown pass to receiver Chase Cota in the third quarter, also moved him up the school’s all-time career passing touchdown list. His 43rd career touchdown pass put him ahead of Cory Paus for sixth on the list.

Brett Hundley (2011-14) is No. 1 on the list with 75 career touchdowns.

Thompson-Robinson completed 9 of 16 passes for 260 yards and three touchdowns against LSU. He has 5,522 career passing yards and 44 career touchdown passes.

Aikman was in attendance and among the former players that stood on the field at the end of the first quarter to honor former UCLA coach Terry Donahue.

Donahue died in July, following a two-year battle with cancer. He was 77. The Bruins also wear a sticker on their helmet with Donahue’s name on it.

Aikman played the first two years of his college career with Oklahoma before transferring to UCLA as a junior in 1987. He played 24 games with the Bruins, completing 406 of 627 passes for 5,298 yards and 41 touchdowns over two seasons.

Aikman was picked by the Dallas Cowboys with the first overall pick in the 1989 NFL Draft.
