Houston Prepares for Sunday Match

Cougars will host Louisiana Lafayette at 1 p.m.
HOUSTON – Houston Soccer (4-0-1) will take on Louisiana Lafayette (2-3-0) Sunday at 1 p.m. at the Carl Lewis International Complex.
Due to the effects of Hurricane Ida, the competition was changed from an originally-scheduled away match to a home match for the Cougars.
Fans will be able to attend free of charge and are welcome to bring their own snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. This will be the last home match for Houston before embarking on a two-game road trip to Rice and Jackson State.
SERIES HISTORY
The Cougars holds a 7-0-1 series advantage over the Ragin' Cajuns. The two teams began the seven-game series in 2002 which resulted in a Houston win in extra time. The most recent battle ended in a draw after two periods of extra time in 2014.

Mobile tickets can also be purchased at game time at the ticket booth located at Schroeder Park (baseball), adjacent to the Carl Lewis International Complex.
