Alabama football owns Mercedes-Benz Stadium as much as the Atlanta Falcons.

The Crimson Tide and the Falcons — the NFL team that calls Mercedes-Benz Stadium home — have both won twice inside the Atlanta arena since the beginning of the 2020 season.

That says as much about Alabama as it does the Falcons, but it much different ways.

Alabama edged Florida, 52-46, in the 2020 SEC Championship in Atlanta and throttled Miami, 44-13, in its 2021 season opener on Saturday.

The Falcons, who went 4-12 last season, only managed wins against the Denver Broncos  and Las Vegas Raiders at home. The franchise has lost eight of its past 10 games at home, including its 0-2 record this preseason. It hasn't made the playoffs since going 10-6 in 2017.
