Kevin Love is a veteran that has been a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers for the last few years, being a veteran on a roster that is currently going through a rebuild. While he didn't have the best year with the Cleveland Cavaliers, it is quite possible that being in a different situation and playing limited minutes on a contending team would allow him to be a good contributor.

Former Cavaliers assistant coach James Posey has recently suggested that teams should look into acquiring Kevin Love. He suggested that key factor for Kevin Love would be getting in great physical shape. Posey also noted that Kevin Love provides floor spacing as a shooter, which is useful for a lot of teams.

It's just a matter of him getting healthy physically, and being able to go back out there and perform. If he's able to perform, I think he should be able to play on that team and show great leadership...I think his confidence should be there, cause he's won at the highest level, and he knows what it takes to win.

You look at teams that could possibly use his talents, he's a great shooter, so he's spacing the floor... Teams should look into getting Kevin Love... Physically and mentally if he's able and he's alright with that, he should be a great player on any team.

Kevin Love shot 36.5% from beyond the arc this season while averaging 12.2 PPG and 7.4 RPG. He could definitely be a great pickup for a contender. What makes a trade difficult is Love's large contract, and it has been reported that there have been no talks between him and the Cavaliers about a buyout. It remains to be seen where Kevin Love ends up, but there are certainly teams out there that could benefit from his services.
