Where did summer go? Seems like time is flying by.
Most everyone I talk with agrees that is true. Even King David needed to confess that God was with him at all "times”: "But I trust in you, O Lord; I say, 'You are my God.' My times are in your hands; deliver me from my enemies and from those who pursue me" (Psalm 31:14-15).
So, no matter how quickly time is passing or what is happening in any given time period, we must continue to trust the Lord. "Trust in him at all times, O people: pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge” (Psalm 62:8).
We have been warned in God's word about these times. "But mark this (pay close attention): There will be terrible times in the last days" (2 Timothy 3:1).
"So justice is driven back, and righteousness stands at a distance; truth has stumbled in the streets, honesty cannot enter. Truth is nowhere to be found, and whoever shuns evil becomes a prey” (Isaiah 59:14-15).

Perhaps it is a reality that time is moving faster. And perhaps this is for our good. Perhaps God is preparing all things for the return of His Son. Should we be glad about this? I think so!
May His “Shalom” guard your hearts and minds in these days. God loves you, He really does!
