God is our creator and cares for each one of us; because of his unfailing love for us we can bring anything and everything to him. He can be trusted and understanding.

1 Peter 5:7 “Cast all your anxieties on him because he cares for you.”

God hears our prayers. He listens – no prayer is too large or small for him to hear.

Psalm 102:17 “He listens to the prayers of the destitute. He will not reject their pleas.”

Isaiah 30:19 “How gracious he will be when you cry for help! As soon as he hears he will answer you.” We can pray will confidence –we all can equally approach God because Jesus died for all mankind.

Ephesians 3:12 “In him (Jesus) and through faith in him we may approach God will freedom and confidence.”

Prayer draws us close to God. Through communion with God our hearts and minds will be changed to be more like Jesus. Prayer is powerful. God not only hears our prayers but begins acting on them. Prayer brings peace and protects us.

John 17:15 “Jesus prayer for his disciples: “My prayer is not that you take them out of the world, but that you protect them from the evil one.”

Prayer is simply having a conversation with God. Prayer is the key to everything we do and so often we use prayer as a last resort, therefore we are not ready to face what a day might bring; we have not given it to God first so he could prepare us.

Prayer can change your day and your attitude toward every responsibility and opportunity. Starting your day with prayer gives one a new perspective on life and purpose in life. Begin your prayer with praises for an Almighty God and his love and concern for his creation.

Continue with confession of any know or unknown sin you have committed. Jesus taught his disciples not to allow stumbling blocks between them. Be honest and truthful God knows your heart and everything you have allowed in your heart and mind.

Remember to thank God for his faithfulness and all he has done and given to you also what you are trusting to do.

Lastly, God wants us to bring our requests too him asking that his will be done. He promises to prepare us for what the future may hold and walk with us through all trials and circumstances.

Your requests may include peace, wisdom, calmness, and assurance of His plan and purpose for your day.

Pray for wisdom to make good choices, time to listen to a friend, and ask him to open your eyes and heart to the opportunities to encourage and be a blessing to others. Remember to include God in every decision – check it out with the one who is ultimately in control. He will lead you and give you favor and protection.

The Lord wants to be in your life every day. He created you for that purpose to share life with him and be an expression of his love. The more you pray the more you will notice God at work in your life and world.

The more often you talk to the Lord you develop this strong relationship you learn to love, depend on him, and value that special time that allows him to guide you in this journey of life.

Share your struggles, challenges, fears, and anxieties, as you do you will learn to trust him in all things.

Giving your life to Jesus is not a onetime event but a daily submission of giving him control. He has the best plan; He created you to have fellowship with him. He wants to bless you with his presence and love, opening your heart and mind allowing him to transform your life.

I know life is busy and filled with responsibility, but don’t miss the blessings, calmness, and security God has for you. Make each day special and peaceful as you commit your day to Jesus and follow His guidance and grace.

Philippians 4: 6,7 “Be careful for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God and the peace of God, which passes all understanding shall keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.”
