Buy Black Chambana is hosting its second annual Urban Pop Up Market throughout the month of September.
The market can have up to 18 vendors each week, and vendors changes every Saturday held at Helm's Park from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. around Boneyard Creek in Champaign-Urbana.
The goal is to bring together black-owned businesses to allow them more visibility within the community.
Each week you'll see everything from a kid's fun corner, shopping, fitness classes, and food trucks.
"It's to give small local businesses a place to pop up and to sell their items, build awareness, and foster community, as we have live music perform and food trucks selling some of the best food here!" CEO and Founder, Mariah Madison said.
Helms Park will be the permanent home as there is a spot for everything here and placed in the heart of the community and campus town.
The Market will be out on the following Saturdays: September 4, September 11, September 18, and September 25.
