Carrie Underwood Shares Work History In Light Of Labor Day

Most entertainers have endured countless unpleasant jobs along the way to realizing their dream in the spotlight, however Carrie Underwood was not one of those. In light of the upcoming Labor Day holiday, she tells us: “My first job was at a gas station, and that was a lot of fun actually. While I was working at the gas station, I took another job at a hotel down the street. There was nobody else working there. I had one day of training and then the next day I came in, and the lady that had worked there the longest and was training me just didn’t show. So, the second day at work I was now in charge ‘cause I was now the senior member that was working at the hotel. So, I feel like that one was really challenging to figure my way through it, but I did.”

Carrie and Jason Aldean sit in the Top 15 and climbing on the Mediabase chart with “If I Didn't Love You,” the first single from his upcoming album.

Carrie will perform her last couple concerts of the year this weekend before heading to Las Vegas for her “Reflection” residency at The Theatre at Resorts World Las Vegas in December.
