Moreland (wrist) will be on the injured list longer than the minimum of 10 days, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.

Moreland landed on the 10-day IL on Tuesday, and manager Bob Melvin revealed Friday that the 35-year-old will be in a splint "for at least a few weeks," Shayna Rubin of The San Jose Mercury News reports. A better timetable for his return will likely be revealed once he sheds his splint, but Jed Lowrie and Khris Davis could split playing time as the designated hitter in Moreland's absence.
