Yellowstone fans, the wait is almost over. While we count down the days until season 4 returns on November 7 with two all-new episodes, we search for clues about what might happen to the Dutton family. Did Kayce (Luke Grimes), Beth (Kelly Reilly), and John (Kevin Costner) all survive the season 3 finale? What will the future bring for Rip and Beth? Well, Paramount Network awarded patient fans with a big gift on September 2: the official season 4 trailer! And, whew, it is a doozy. There's so much to unpack here!
The explosive video begins with a recap of the violent season 3 finale with John's roadside shooting, the explosion at Beth's office, and the shooting at Kayce's office. It's not immediately clear if any of them survived. Emergency vehicles race to Kayce's office, and the alert goes out: "Officer down." Monica Dutton (Kelsey Asbille) screams. Jamie (Wes Bentley) says, "Oh my God." Jimmy Hurdstrom (Jefferson White) looks to be seriously injured.
Jamie's biological father, Garrett Randle (Will Patton), now a series regular, issues a stern warning: "Fair. Moral. Those are words men invented to scare and shame other men from taking back what they've stolen."
Jamie, pointing a gun, says, "What about right and wrong?"
Randle replies: "There's no such thing."
