The NBA 2K series keeps getting better in terms of how real the gaming experience is. In that vein, fans of the Boston Celtics may notice a familiar voice when they play NBA 2K22. The latest iteration of the basketball video game will feature every team’s public address announcer per NBC Sports Boston’s Darren Hartwell.
For the Celtics, that would be Eddie Palladino’s dulcet tones recounting made baskets by the Celtics, as well as the starting lineups ahead of tipoff. NBA 2K22 should be available for purchase with Palladino voice-overs and all other 29 teams in the league’s PA announcers as well when it is released on Sept. 10.
