Watch the new red band trailer for 'Vacation Friends' starring John Cena and Lil Rel Howery

Days after ruining Roman Reigns' day, John Cena is an absurd wedding crasher in the first red band trailer of Vacation Friends:

Vacation Friends stars Cena and Meredith Hagner as Ron and Kyla respectively, a drunk-infused, socially unaware couple who arrive at the wedding of Marcus (Lil Rel Howery) and Emily (Yvonne Orji). They weren't invited because they only know the bride and groom from one reckless weekend in Mexico, but Emily made the mistake of saying, "See you later!" Let the raunchy and raucous adventures begin.

The red band trailer dropped Wednesday morning (July 21), so Cena is still fresh off shocking WWE fans at WWE Money in the Bank on Monday (July 19):

The 44-year-old had previously confirmed an imminent return to the ring during a visit to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on June 23. At the time, he was promoting F9: The Fast Saga and his debut role in the 20-year Fast and Furious franchise. Cena, a 16-time world champion, now has a packed WWE schedule through at least Aug. 21.

August will be the Month of Cena in more ways than one: James Gunn's The Suicide Squad, in which he plays Peacemaker, will hit theaters and HBO Max on Aug. 6, and Vacation Friends will stream exclusively on Hulu beginning Aug. 27.
