With Drake’s new album, Certified Lover Boy, set to drop in the coming hours, NBA stars LeBron James and Kevin Durant reacted on social media.

Drake’s been low-key advertising the release of his new album via billboards in various cities which are home to features on the album. Other than that, he also has some free publicity from some of basketball’s greatest stars in LeBron James and Kevin Durant.

The recording artist is well-known for his basketball fandom, and while he tends to jump from one team to the next (based on success), he’s held it down for the 6 and the Toronto Raptors of late as a team ambassador.

It’s common knowledge that rappers often want to be athletes, and athletes want to be rappers. It’s rare that someone can do both, with Damian Lillard being a rare exception.

With CLB set to be released on September 3, expect the NBA community — and athletes of all kinds — to react on social media, good or bad. Drake is always a popular sports figure, either good or bad, and is constantly meme’d when his teams are involved.

If CLB is bad, you can bet he’ll be roasted for it.

Patrick Mahomes has the perfect reaction to Drake’s lyric about him. dark. Next
