Celtic signed three players on Deadline Day as the club finalised Ange Postecoglou’s side until January. The trio consisted of Jota (loan to buy) from Benfica, Giakoumakis (£2.2m) from VVV Venlo and finally Cameron Carter-Vickers from Tottenham (loan to buy).

The trio were training as Celtic prepare for a return to action against Ross County next weekend. The manager will be hoping for a better showing than in the narrow defeat to Rangers at the end of August.

Giakoumakis took on Celtic’s iconic No.7 shirt and with Odsonne Edouard and Leigh Griffiths leaving, he will have the chance to play and hopefully score.
