THE ENGAGEMENT PARTY
“Lea is in charge of planning [the party],” Shore tells TVLine. “Shaun doesn’t care. As long as he is getting married, he’s happy!” Lea, on the other hand, “wants everything to be perfect, and that is going to be a lot of the discussion: What makes something perfect? And what goes into the planning of these sorts of things?”

Thank you for spoiling who Shaun ends up with for me. Did it not occur to you that this article would get recommended to people who have not yet finished Season 4 or 5? You literally NAMED the article “First Good Doctor Season 5 Promo Teases Shaun and Lea’s Wedding — Plus, First Engagement Party Photos” ….which means I didn’t even have to click on the article in order to have the show completely spoiled for me. What a moronic decision to NAME the article that. You should probably fire whoever made that decision. Unbelievable.
What? The season 4 finale aired 3 months ago… I’d hardly call out a site for “spoiling” a plot point on something that aired three months prior.
Why in the heck do people come on websites discussing current and future tv when they’re months or years behind on tv shows?? This isn’t something that aired last night. If you don’t want things spoiled watch them in a timely manner, or get off of entertainment websites.
.
For example, Shang Chi spoilers in headlines tomorrow is bad. Black Widow spoilers in headlines are fine. Should we not discuss Sixth Sense, Empire Strikes Back, and Citizen Kane till you catch up too?
The season ended months ago. Fans of the show enjoy some previews. Are the writers here not supposed to preview and show us anything? Season 5 hasn’t started so obviously you could not have finished it.
On the one hand, I feel you because this site HAS spoiled stuff for me within a few days of it coming out (esp streaming shows that drop all 10-13 eps in one day–I don’t have time/interest to watch like 12 hours of tv in two or three days!) but the finale aired quite some time ago, so it is kind of on you to stay off these kinds of sites until you’re done watching, if you want to stay spoiler free.
Like, for me, when a new season of, say, Lucifer comes out I delete all my bookmarks of tvline b/c I know they expect ppl to watch fast and they’ll have headlines that either drop strong hints or spoil outright.
Didn’t watch season 4 n well that was a huge spoiler.
🤮
Ditto!
A wedding for Shaun signals final season to me.
I quit watching at least one season ago. Just couldn’t deal with all the Shaun/Lea sturm und drang anymore. Glad I did.
Me too Lark, all that Lea and Shaun stuff ruined a pretty good show, no wonder why some of the regulars left the show.
Looking forward to all of it!! Love the cast and this show ❤️❤️.
Ok…cute photos of the engagement…But I am still not convinced that this marriage will last🤷
I’ve only just started watching season 3 and you spoil it with your bloody headline in my news feed. Please think about your headlines.
See above comments about how Season FOUR ended months ago, let alone Season 3! So it’s on you to avoid websites like this until you catch up.
Absolutely on you to stay off sites you know will be ahead of you. Me, I love this, I hope this show lasts 10 seasons . FH is brilliant.
I was very disappointed in this episode. The commercials made it seem like the first episode would show whether Leah and Shaun got married. The entire hour I waited for an anticipated wedding. Not enough of the show was focused on the star of the show (Freddie Highmore). It truly seemed that the engagement party was rushed through. The negativity was a bit too much for me in the other parts of the show, especially the woman who ate half a sandwich and was taken off of her meds. I doubt if any good medical professional would take someone off their meds.
