Bolts announce details for 'Lightning Launch Weekend'

TAMPA BAY - The Tampa Bay Lightning will host 'Lightning Launch Weekend', presented by Florida Blue, from Friday, September 17 through Sunday, September 19 at AMALIE Arena and Tampa Theatre. The weekend will kick off with Bolts Brew Fest on Friday night at AMALIE Arena, feature a Lightning prospect showcase game on Saturday, and a premiere for NHL Studios Lightning championship DVD, and conclude on Sunday with a public skate and trivia night.

Bolts Brew Fest, a three-hour event will offer craft beers from a variety of different local craft breweries, oversized games, ThunderBug and more. General Admission tickets will include unlimited beer sampling and other fun perks including games, music and more. Craft beer enthusiasts can purchase a VIP Admission ticket which will allow them access into the event one hour prior to general admission. VIP includes photo opportunities with the Stanley Cup in the VIP area from 6 - 8 p.m., unlimited beer sampling, early entry from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. for an extra hour. On Saturday, fans will have the chance to watch Lightning prospects take on the Nashville Predators at AMALIE Arena at 2 p.m. The Lightning are hosting this year's Prospect Showcase and the game will be open and free to the public with exclusive interviews with Julien BriseBois and current Lightning players. Additional activations will include photo opportunities with the Prince of Wales and Conn Smythe trophies.
The Lightning will be hosting a premiere for NHL Studios' 2021 Stanley Cup Champions Film at the Tampa Theatre on Saturday night beginning at 7 p.m. NHL Studios provides fans with an all-access pass to the Lightning's incredible journey through the 2020-21 NHL season.
