Walmart prepared to administer COVID vaccine boosters this fall

TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) —
Walmart says it's prepared to administer millions of COVID vaccine booster shots.

"We stand ready to administer booster shots this fall once recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Food and Drug Administration in the coming weeks," said Dr. John Wig, chief medical officer for Walmart.
As of Tuesday, Walmart has held more than 600 community vaccine clinics nationwide in partnership with local organizations.
