The New York Giants have announced that they have parted ways with wide receivers C.J. Board and Dante Pettis, as well as linebacker Trent Harris.

More specifically, the Giants released Board, while they waived Pettis and Harris. Board being released outright means that he is immediately eligible to be signed by another team, while Pettis and Harris must first go through the waiver wire. The Giants like all three players, particularly on special teams, and it’s possible that we could see more roster maneuvering to bring them back.

These are the corresponding moves to make room for EDGE Quincy Roche, linebacker Justin Hilliard, and wide receiver Collin Johnson. The Giants were awarded each of them on waiver wire claims earlier Wednesday.

We can expect more roster moves soon as the team makes room to resign LS Casey Kreiter, and head coach Joe Judge recently confirmed that the team is interested in re-signing specialist Nate Ebner.

The Giants’ 53-man roster remains fluid, so stay with Big Blue View for more news as we get it.
