A two-car collision injured 23-year-old Daniel Garcia and his 3 passengers in Grant County (Grant County, WA)

On Monday morning, 23-year-old Daniel Garcia and his 3 passengers were hospitalized after a two-car collision in Grant County while authorities believe that Daniel Garcia was under the influence.

The preliminary reports showed that Daniel Garcia, 23, was traveling north on State Route 17 near milepost 37, at around 5:40 when Garcia lost control of his car, overcorrected, and struck a car traveling in front of him. Both cars went off the road due to the impact while Garcia’s car came to a stop upside down.

Garcia, and all three of his passengers, received injuries and were transported to the hospital. Two passengers, a 20-year-old woman and an 18-year-old woman were flown to hospitals for the treatment of their injuries. No one in other car was injured in the accident. Garcia is facing charges of suspicion of DUI and vehicular assault, according to a WSP crash report.

The crash remains under investigation.
