Patrick Gibbons Returns to GENERAL HOSPITAL!

Fans will recognize a familiar face in today’s episode of GENERAL HOSPITAL as Patrick Gibbons, Jr. reprises his role of Raging Raccoon scout Wyatt Hoover on Sept. 1! ONE LIFE TO LIVE fans remember the young actor fondly for his performances as Sam Manning on that soap and he’ll be sharing scenes with one of his old co-stars again!

Gibbons teased his appearance by sharing side-by-side photos of himself as Wyatt in his scout costume sitting next to Michael Easton (Finn) wearing masks on set as they waited to tape their scenes and himself as a little boy on the OLTL set with the actor, who played John McBain on the much-missed ABC soap. “Together again,” read the tweet. “These pics are 10 years apart. Pretty cool that they still get the chance to work with each other. Tune in to GH today to see what they are up to.”

Back in December 2010, Gibbons joined the cast of OLTL as Sam Manning, the son of Blair Cramer and Victor Lord, Jr. and fans were able to watch the talented young performer grow up on-screen as he appeared right up to the soap’s 2012 ending on ABC and later in the 2013 online revival. Those viewers might be startled to know that Gibbons is now a teenager starting his junior year in high school!

In July 2018, former OLTL executive producer and current GH boss Frank Valentini tapped Gibbons to play the young scout who discovered Peter being held prisoner by Obrecht in a cabin in the woods! Subsequent scenes where he told Franco and Finn about what he’d seen reunited him with former OLTL castmates Roger Howarth (Todd) and Easton. Gibbons popped back up again in 2019 for a couple more episodes, and now he’s back for another visit!
