AccuWeather: Freeze warning tonight, but a big warmup next week
You'll feel a frosty April chill tonight, but a taste of summer awaits next week!

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- We all wake up Friday with either a frost or freeze, then summer heat sets in.

TONIGHT: With high pressure over New England tonight we will see clearing skies and light winds leading to ideal radiational cooling. Dewpoints are down in the 30s so temperatures have a good bit of room to fall. We will see lows ranging from 29 in the outlying suburbs of the Pine Barrens and Lehigh Valley to 39 here in Center City. A freeze warning or frost advisory blanket our region from 2am to 9am. If you have any tender vegetation in the garden best to cover it up.

FRIDAY: That same high pressure will give us a sunny Friday with temperatures rebounding back into the lower 60s. This is still a good 5 degrees or so below average.

SATURDAY: The weekend then starts off with some brief sun before clouds roll in with a warm front. This will keep out temperatures similar to Friday and could introduce a late day shower for areas northwest of Philadelphia. High of 63.

SUNDAY: That warm front pushes through and temperatures and dewpoints are off to the races. You will feel the increasing humidity in the air as temperatures rise into the upper 70s. It won't be a totally sunny day though as a lot of clouds look to be in the mix.

MONDAY: A taste of summer! Enjoy the warmest day of the year so far under partly sunny skies, high 86. A tad humid too.

TUESDAY: It's another very warm day with sun followed by increasing clouds. A cold front approaches from the west and brings the chance for a late day thunderstorm, high 85.

WEDNESDAY: Partly sunny and still mild, high 80.
