Northern Colorado businesspeople are welcome to attend a Workforce Symposium scheduled for 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 21 inside the McKee Exhibition Hall at The Ranch in Loveland.

The 2021 Workforce Symposium focuses on the future after a workforce rebound due to the COVID-19 pandemic with a slogan that emphasizes, “Future Workforce, Future Workplace, Future Leadership,” according to a Weld County news release.

The doors open 7:30 a.m. to a wide variety of workshops and live presentations from leading experts in the workforce, including a workshop on how to adapt to and shape the future of work.

Multiple experts will also speak to the audience. A northern Colorado panel of economic development workers will provide an updated forecast of employment trends.

Chuck Wachendorfer of Think2Perform will discuss the topic of “Leadership Intelligence” as a keynote speaker.

This is the second year Employment Services of Weld County and Larimer County Economic and Workforce Development have partnered to throw this workforce symposium. Larimer County is on its 40th year hosting the annual event.

Other agencies involved in the day for northern Colorado residents and business leaders involve Aims Community College, Workforce Excellence Group, Loveland Business Development Center and HRx Services.

Tickets to the symposium cost $49. To purchase tickets or for more information about the 2021 Workforce Symposium, go to www.larimer.org/ewd/business/workforce-symposium.
