When it comes to the television relationships that fans become so deeply passionate about, it’s never too soon to speculate which pairings might be endgame. And now that Manifest season 4 has been officially confirmed by Netflix, debating Zekaela vs. Jachaela is fair game.

Of course, reducing an entire series full of rich mythology and hefty existential questions down to some fun yet complicated relationship drama isn’t something we’re typically wont to do, but after months of fighting for Manifest season 4, Manifesters definitely deserve a romance break.

Michaela‘s relationships with ex-boyfriend and almost fiancé Jared and current husband Zeke have the power to divide the fandom, just like with any show with a dynamic love triangle. But Michaela’s love life won’t be the only one called into question in Manifest’s final season.

Luckily, we have a showrunner at the helm that will leave no stone unturned (the puns write themselves) and has already plotted an endgame for the show’s central relationship drama since the beginning of the series. Here’s what the creator said about the ships in Manifest season 4.

Who will end up together in Manifest season 4?

Although we may not have an answer to that question that doesn’t involve strong feelings just yet, we can rest easy knowing Manifest mastermind Jeff Rake holds all the secrets.

While chatting with Entertainment Weekly about Netflix saving the series, Rake discussed the necessity of paring the story down from his envisioned length of six seasons to a now fourth and final season of 20 episodes.

Rake has previously spoken about having a “roadmap” to how the series would end, but he obviously hadn’t broken every story of every future episode of the series. However, he knew the broad strokes of how the arc of the story would go from beginning to end. That includes the ships.

As Rake told Entertainment Weekly:

"“When I’ve talked in the past about having a roadmap all the way to the end of series, that didn’t mean that I had a roadmap for literally every single episode. I have a roadmap with a series of twists and turns and flags in the sand that we would ultimately hit in order to tell the the core stories within our mythology and within our relationship drama.”"

Thankfully, Netflix’s order of 20 episodes to conclude the series won’t force Rake to cut anything out of the series but rather follow that roadmap down a set path. Because it’s the final season, that roadmap will include the endgame of every relationship in the series.

Will Michaela end up with Jared or Zeke? Will Olive end up with TJ or Levi? Will Saanvi finally find love, and how will Ben move on from that tragic season 3 ending? Everything we have ever wondered about and wanted for our favorite characters will be answered in Manifest season 4, and Jeff Rake knows how it all will end.

Who do you hope ends up together? Sound off in the comments, and stay tuned for more Manifest news and updates from Netflix Life!
