Camila Cabello Paired a High-Low Ballgown With Thigh-High Platform Boots and a Butt-Length Ponytail

The singer looked magical at the premiere of Amazon Studios' Cinderella.

Camila Cabello just took a page out of her own movie and put a super modern, badass spin on the traditional princess ballgown. At the premiere of Amazon Studios' Cinderella, the "Havana" singer turned heads in an edgy Oscar de la Renta gown.

The gown had a nude mesh halter-top bodice with sparkling silver leafy overlay that trickled down onto the full black skirt. In the front of the skirt, the crinkled black fabric was bustled into a super mini length before flowing into a full skirt that trailed behind the star. She paired the high-low gown with chunky black thigh-high platform boots.

The "Don't Go Yet" singer traded in her freshly chopped blunt bob for a slicked-back, butt-length ponytail. The singer's natural makeup was accompanied by winged eyeliner and baby hairs swirled around her forehead and neck. She accessorized with silver earrings and a sparkly clutch.

The pop star was joined on the carpet by her costars Idina Menzel, who plays the villainous role of the evil stepmother, and Billy Porter, the absolutely fabulous and progressive fairy godmother.

The film puts a 2021 spin on the classic fairytale, but you won't find a damsel in distress in this film. Sure, there is a prince (played by Nicholas Galitzine) who throws a ball in order to find a wife, but Cabello's Cinderella is more interested in opening her own dress shop. The movie is available for streaming exclusively on Amazon Prime Video starting Sept. 3.
