News 12's Doug Geed was joined this morning by Dr. Roxanne Carfora of Ageless MD, a family practice on Long Island, to talk about the delta variant. Dr. Carfora stresses holistic approaches to healthy living.

The delta variant is raging right now across the tri-state and across the country.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, all 50 states have a high COVID-19 transmission rate. But half the states have less than half of their population fully vaccinated.

A new UK study shows the highly contagious delta variant may double the risk of hospitalization among unvaccinated people.
