…whereas, the Disney Sorcerer Pass will compare with the Disney Gold Pass (both of which are ONLY available to FL Resident or DVC Members).

The Disney Gold Pass included blockout dates from December 17th to January 1st and April 9th to April 22nd and the Disney Sorcerer Pass will have similar blockout dates with November 24th through November 27th, as well as December 18th through December 31st announced currently.

And, though the Disney Pirate Pass can most closely be compared to the former Disney Silver Pass, the blockout dates vary quite a bit. The Disney Silver Pass included select blockout dates in December and April, plus the entirety of June and July unavailable. However, the Disney Pirate Pass will include more blockout dates on weekends and around holidays or special events.

As for the Disney Pixie Dust Pass, the blockout dates will most closely compare to that of the Disney Weekday Select Pass, with all weekends blocked out and more dates unavailable near major holidays like Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s, Valentine’s Day, and Spring Break.

  1. Nope! Too rigid. No value for the exorbitant price. Disney is clearly trying to recoup all money lost during pandemic closure by squeezing their best clients rather than increasing extraneous offerings such as behind the scenes tours, etc. And I know several current pass-holders who will not be renewing for similar reasons. One I spoke to mentioned the limited reservations and lack of fast passes. Disney ain’t what it used to be! As a Floridian, I can get my Disney fix by taking advantage of the 4-day play passes they offer now and then. I’ll be getting a Busch Gardens annual pass!

  2. I can’t find any info on the new Passes and their blackout dates. Can’t really make a decision on which Pass to buy without that info….
