A group of Brass Era vehicles will be making their way through southeast Iowa this September.

The 10th Annual Red Flag Horseless Carriage Motor Tour announced their schedule for the three-day tour Tuesday. The mission of the tour is to foster an understanding and appreciation of vintage vehicle touring while supporting the communities on the selected routes and providing participants with a quality experience that encourages return visits to Iowa. Starting Wednesday, September 22nd participants will gather for introductions and a driver’s meeting in Mount Pleasant with the tour starting the next day. Tour routes vary each year and traditionally run between 50 and 75 miles per day. The first trip on Thursday, September 23rd will include a stop in Washington at the State Theatre.
