The Marvels is one of the most highly anticipated Marvel Cinematic Universe projects next year. After all, the sequel will feature three different superheroes who go by the name Marvel. The film is currently in production and WandaVision star Teyonah Parris has shared an awesome update on the MCU flick.
Parris is currently working on Captain Marvel 2 but she still finds time to promote the upcoming Candyman sequel. The WandaVision actor was a guest on Late Night with Seth Meyers and she admitted she is hard at work on the second Captain Marvel flick.
"I will tell you that I am in London, I am having an amazing time filming The Marvels, and it's gonna be pretty epic," Parris said. "It's really exciting, and I can't wait."
It's not a huge surprise that Parris is having fun working on The Marvels. After all, she will finally get to work with Brie Larson and Miss Marvel star Iman Vellani. That's three Captain Marvels in one film and that is certainly a very exciting thing. Needless to say, we can't wait to see Monica teaming up with Carol Danvers and Kamala Khan next year.
Parris debuted as Monica in WandaVision earlier this year. Although the character was introduced as a young child in the first Captain Marvel film, she has since grown into a strong and now powerful woman.
You can catch Parris in Candyman, which premieres on August 27, 2021. The Marvels is scheduled for release on November 11, 2022.
