Kanye West is making millions teasing his ‘Donda’ album release

Kanye West is going to have millions pouring out from his ears.

The 44-year-old “Power” rapper is set to debut his newest album, “Donda,” on Thursday with a listening party — his third event overall — in Chicago’s Soldier Field.

So how much money in total has he made from his previous album listening soirées?

Apparently, they’re worth a pretty penny.

According to Billboard, Ye has already made $12.75 million from his past two “Donda” parties in Atlanta.

In July, over 42,000 fans filed into Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz stadium. Each paid between $25 and $100 a ticket. Apple Music livestreamed the bash for free with the promise that his album would be launched the next day.

But alas, that didn’t happen and he hosted another listening party later that same month. The second one broke Apple Music livestream records and had 5.4 million viewers. About $7 million came cashing in from in-person merchandise sales, and Billboard estimated that both parties in Atlanta grossed between $1.5 million and $2.7 million each for the record producer.

The “Jesus Walks” crooner had previously claimed that he was $53 million in debt. West went on one of his infamous Twitter rants back in February 2016 — the same day he dropped his “The Life of Pablo” album — where he posted about his supposed financial issues.

The Chicago native launched his third clothing line in collaboration with Adidas that same week and it was worth an estimated $100 million at the time.

However, that hefty $53 million sum later proved to be inaccurate. The number was said to reflect the cash he invested in his own business deals.

Over $40 million was reportedly dumped into his Yeezy fashion line. Forbes reported the father of four made $22 million in 2015.

Fast forward to 2021 and West and his big-bootied ex-wife Kim Kardashian split up. But the “Gold Digger” rapper still raked in the dough, and is now apparently worth $6 billion. His fashion line and his music sales have surely brought up the A-lister’s money cred.
