NEWPORT, Ky. (WKRC) - A new Cuban restaurant is coming to Newport on the Levee.
Amador will offer Cuban and Latin American fusion dishes and a rum bar with a 1980s Miami vibe.
The restaurant will offer plenty of space to dine. There will be 3,900 square feet of indoor dining with another 2,500 square feet of outdoor patio overlooking the Ohio River.
For those more on the go, there will be a bodega-style walk-up window with a limited menu in the alleyway alongside the building.
Nick Pesola, owner of Revolution Rotisserie, is behind the new restaurant.
“Our goal with Amador is to create a really fun, one-of-a-kind experience on all fronts from the delicious cuisine to the craft cocktails to the playful atmosphere. Amador will complement everything else going on in the area and my hope is that our guests will feel a bit like they are on vacation whenever they come dine with us,” said Pesola.
Construction is set to begin in October with the hope the restaurant will open in early spring.
