(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Another interactive, nostalgia-based fan experience based on a well-loved television show is coming to Chicago.

“The Office Experience” will open Oct. 15 at The Shops at North Bridge on the Magnificent Mile, 540 N. Michigan Ave. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday.

The attraction is billed as a way for fans of the NBC show — about dysfunctional office culture at Dunder Mifflin Paper Co. in Scranton, Pa. — to bask in a recreated atmosphere.

The 17 rooms of the exhibit are filled with original props and costumes, set re-creations and more.

“Guests will be able to take pictures throughout the Dunder Mifflin office including Pam’s desk, Michael’s office and Ryan’s closet as well as Schrute Farms,” a news release describing the experience said. “Fans will relive iconic episodes and memorable moments such as Kevin’s Chili Spill and Beach Day.”

This retrospective of the “The Office” comes on the heels of the successful Chicago run for a similar attraction dedicated to the NBC sitcom “Friends.”

Stacy Moscatelli, co-president of Superfly X, the production company behind both exhibits, said they can provide bonding experiences for families.

“What’s always really heartwarming to see is mothers and daughters, fathers and sons come in and have a shared love of these iconic series,” she said.

The U.S. version of the “The Office” ran from 2005 to 2013, but the show that launched the careers of Steve Carell, John Krasinski and others remains popular on streaming platforms.

"The Office Experience" will run through Jan. 17.
