Pennsylvania State Police say a North Carolina homicide suspect on the run has died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound in Adams County. Around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, troopers gathered east of Biglerville in the area of Route 15 and 234 to search for an armed man in the woods nearby. Officials originally called the situation a "police incident," which shut down Route 234 from Lake Meade Road to Old Harrisburg Road for about four hours.
