Breeze Thru Car Wash will hold a fundraiser to support Larimer County Search and Rescue (LCSAR) at 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 28.

All retail dollars received throughout the day at Breeze Thru’s five Larimer County locations will be donated to LCSAR.
The business has two Loveland locations, one Johnstown location and two Fort Collins locations.

In a news release, Janice Weixelman, president of Larimer County Search and Rescue, said contributions from the annual fundraiser have helped bring education and safety to Larimer County and neighboring areas the search team assists.

To date, the fundraiser has contributed nearly $90,000 to LCSAR, and this year, Breeze Thru hopes to raise $19,000 that  LCSAR can use to cover the costs of a boat used to deploy specially-trained dogs on water searches, improve its urban search capabilities, and continue to outfit crews with the search and rescue tools needed to safely bring people home.

LCSAR is an independent nonprofit that relies heavily on donations and does not charge for its services.
