Interstate 84 has reopened in eastern Oregon after a tractor-trailer crashed Wednesday morning on a bridge between Pendleton and La Grande, officials said.

The crash near milepost 238 left the truck’s trailer dangling from the bridge and its load of apple juice concentrate spilled on the roadway.

The eastbound interstate was closed to all traffic at exit 216, about 6 miles east of Pendleton. Westbound traffic was diverted at Ontario, though local traffic was allowed on the highway between Ontario and Baker City, officials said.
