Alison Hammond is celebrating the launch of her brand new book, released 14 October, and took to Instagram to share how she was feeling on the big day.
The This Morning star announced the release of You’ve Got To Laugh: Stories from a Life Lived to the Full earlier this year and now fans can get their hands on a copy and pre-order copies are already arriving on doorsteps.
Sharing a quote from the book to her grid, Alison wrote in the caption;"Well Today is the day I will def put my make up on and Celebrate Book Launch . Feeling so happy that you have the chance to read this book and enjoy a little piece of me. "
Continuing; "I’m going to buy 10 copy’s for xmas presents cos I only have 10 friends. I digress! Thanks to everyone for your support and for always cheering me on. She posted another quote from the book back in August and it was in classic Alison humour. The quote read, “I can’t think why I enjoy interviewing Hollywood heartthrobs. But for some reason, I like sitting opposite fantastically handsome men and having a laugh with them.”
A smiling photograph of Alison was included along with a note saying that You’ve Got to Laugh is “coming soon” as a hardback, ebook and audiobook.
In a caption alongside the post, Alison said she was “Honestly still buzzing that my book 'You’ve got to laugh' is out in October,” adding that she “can’t wait.”
Famous friends and followers left messages of support and excitement for her latest project.
On message read, “You’re the best at interviewing top celebs, you genuinely make them howl with laughter”, while Singer Pixie Lott said, “and u have the best laugh everrr.”
Clips of Alison’s hilarious interviews with famous icons have gone viral, most notably her for her chats with Ryan Gosling and Harrison Ford and Michael Bublé.
During her interview with Ryan Gosling and Harrison Ford, Alison ended up throwing away the questions cards and joining the pair for a drink of whiskey. She also memorably kissed Michael Bublé and returned wearing a jumper with both their faces printed on it the next time they met.
