All the clues that lead fans to think Kailyn Lowry and Javi Marroquin are back together

Is the seemingly impossible happening, Teen Mom fans? Are Kailyn Lowry and her ex-husband Javi Marroquin back together? Well, it certainly hasn’t been confirmed, but since the exes have gotten close again, followers are keeping an eye on their relationship and are raising their eyebrows at what they’re seeing.

This new friendship between the exes really began back when Javi and his ex-girlfriend Lauren Comeau made headlines for their latest batch of drama. The two have had a tumultuous relationship this year especially, but their situation came to a head in July when Javi called the police on Lauren after she allegedly hit him.

Kailyn decided to come to Javi’s defense, especially because it was alleged that the child they share together, seven-year-old Lincoln, was present when the altercation with Lauren took place. As we previously reported, Kail and Javi jumped on Instagram Live to absolutely destroy Lauren, and no words were left unsaid. You can check out a screengrab of part of the video here.

After that, it looked liked Kailyn and Javi were closer than ever. Fans questioned the 29-year-old Teen Mom 2 star a few weeks back after she said she’d even go on vacation with her ex-husband. As they do co-parent a child together, this share wasn’t too big of a deal, but it did have her followers scratching their heads wondering when these two repaired their relationship.

Are Kailyn Lowry and Javi Marroquin getting back together?

It looks like Kailyn is not ruling out getting back together with her ex-husband. In an interview with Hollywood Life published on August 4, the mom-of-four explained:

"“I won’t say that we will never get back together because I feel like never say never, but I do really like where we’re at right now. We’re getting along and having our space and things like that. I just don’t — I’m honestly just not looking for a relationship with anyone. But, I’m not going to say I would never get back with him.”"

And more recently, Kailyn and Javi have had no problem showing off on social media that they’ve been hanging out. According to Screen Rant, Kail revealed via her Instagram Story earlier this month that her ex’s phone was hooked up to her car Bluetooth speaker, and just earlier this week Kailyn posted a video to her Instagram with Javi.

As reported by The Sun, Kailyn showed off her “dream home” which is currently under construction, and the video, which you can see below, included Kail and Javi playing a game of rock, paper, scissors.

These are not the only instances of Kailyn and Javi hanging out this month, and fans have certainly taken notice. In the comments section for the post above, the reality star received messages such as, “Can y’all get back together pleaseeeeee,” “why am I so pressed about them getting back together ?” and “They’re gonna end up back together and pregnant within the next 2 years.” It looks like fans are either convinced the two have reconciled or are really hoping they will soon.

Considering Kail and Javi have had tons of drama in the past, seeing them so close now is definitely a good thing. But are they really back together romantically? Well, a rep for Kail reportedly spoke to In Touch Weekly about the pair on August 13, claiming that Kailyn and Javi are not back together. They explained that their hanging out has been “simply innocent coparenting!”

Of course, fans are waiting for confirmation from Kailyn Lowry herself to know for sure what’s going on with her and Javi. Though she said they’re not back together earlier this month, anything can happen within a few weeks. And the fact that she admitted she’s not against reconciling is very telling.
