The world has lost a ground breaking acting legend. On March 29th, 2024, Louis Gossett Jr. passed away in Santa Monica, California. He was 87 years old. Gossett Jr. was born in 1936 in Coney Island, Brooklyn, New York. After obtaining a sports injury at age 17, he was encouraged to participate in a school play. Not long afterwards, he was encouraged to try out for a Broadway play. The rest, as they say, was history.

According to the Baltimore Police Department, the incident unfolded on March 28, just before 1 a.m., when officers were summoned to a residence following reports of a home invasion. Upon arrival, a woman recounted to the police that two unidentified men forcibly entered her home, demanding money. They purportedly claimed to have her son, 47-year-old David Winchester Jr., and threatened harm unless she complied with their monetary demands. The suspects absconded from the premises without the ransom.

Atlantic City Mayor Marty Small Sr. and his wife were allegedly filmed beating their teenage daughter by her boyfriend — whom the parents had “disapproved of,” it was revealed Wednesday.

Reginald Cook, 26, first tried to rob the Shell gas station on Elvis Presley Boulevard, in Memphis, at around 2:00 a.m. on Monday, local WREG reports.

The Boston Herald reported an attorney for Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, 30, filed an appeal seeking to stop the feds in Boston from taking the $4,200-plus in Tsarnaev’s account, arguing the death row inmate “is neither hoarding funds nor spending profligately.”

An accused murderer locked up on Rikers Island beat a correction officer — leaving her with broken bones in her face — because he was “irate” that his cell door was locked, prosecutors alleged Thursday.

Tymirh Bey-Foster, 21, was indicted on charges of second and third degree assault for the April 7 attack, which left the city Department of Correction staffer unconscious, and with fractures and a deep cut to her face that required stitches.
