Cole Hauser posted a special throwback treat for Yellowstone fans! The actor, who stars as the one-and-only Rip Wheeler on the Paramount Network hit (which returns November 7!), took to Instagram to share an epic behind-the-scenes photo from early in his career. Today, Hauser is most recognizable as a ranch hand and Beth's love interest on Yellowstone, but his Hollywood career began decades before the show premiered.

Hauser posted on Instagram to wish his friend Ben Affleck a belated happy birthday with a photo from the 1997 Oscar-winning movie, Good Will Hunting. Affleck, who celebrated his 49th birthday on August 15, also starred with Hauser in the cult hit Dazed and Confused, and the two appeared alongside Matt Damon in 1992's School Ties.

The black-and-white throwback photo shows the all-star cast of Good Will Hunting: Affleck, Damon, Casey Affleck, Minnie Driver, and Hauser himself. Hauser captioned the photo, "Happy belated bday brotha @benaffleck much love! #goodwillhunting"

Hauser played Affleck and Damon's friend, Billy. He talked about filming the movie in an interview with BUILD: "It was one of the most exciting and fun experiences, and to be able to see my friends win an Academy Award for something that we all gave our heart and soul to was pretty special."

Some fans were shocked to find out that Hauser starred in the award-winning movie. One wrote, "No way!! You were in this movie. Watching tonight." Another said, "Had no idea you were in that, too! 😂" A surprised fan commented, "That was you in GWH??!! Mind blown!" and another added, "Oh wow! I didn’t even realize this was you! 🤦‍♀️👏❤️"

Maybe it's time to rewatch this classic while we wait for season 4 of Yellowstone!
