BARTON COUNTY—A Kansas woman was injured in an accident just after 8:30a.m. Friday in Barton County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2006 Chevy HHR driven by Taylor Rose Hoffman, 21, Kanopolis, was eastbound on NE 30 Road three miles north of Great Bend.
The driver fell asleep. The SUV exited the roadway to the south, struck a culvert and came to a rest.
EMS transported to Hoffman to the hospital in Great Bend. She was properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
