A Louisville man who confessed to a murder he was acquitted of is behind bars — again.Josh Young was charged with killing his stepbrother, Trey Zwicker, in 2011 behind Liberty High School when both of them were teens.Young was acquitted after his father, Joshua Gouker, admitted to the murder.Then, just two years ago in 2019, Young sent a letter to local media claiming he was the real killer and had beaten Trey with a baseball bat."I murdered Trey Zwicker, I murdered him alone, it was not planned, it was not a plot, and there was nobody else involved in any kind of way," it said in part.Since his acquittal, he's had several run-ins with the law.Previous stories:2017: Josh Young back in jail on new charges 2015: Josh Young, Louisville teen acquitted of killing stepbrother, arrested again The latest happened on Wednesday when he violated his federal supervisory release.Back in July, a judge ordered he could be released from jail, but on a $25,000 bond and had several conditions, including completing a 28-day program and complying with recommendations of the treatment facility regarding their six to eight-month treatment program and or continuing care. And after that, he would need to be placed on electronic monitoring.According to the July order, there may have been other conditions already imposed, but those were not listed.It's unclear what he violated, but he was taken into custody by U.S. Marshals. Brian Parrish with the U.S. Marshals Service said he believes the arrest happened on Lantana Drive in Louisville.Gouker was sentenced to 25 years in prison.

A Louisville man who confessed to a murder he was acquitted of is behind bars — again.

Josh Young was charged with killing his stepbrother, Trey Zwicker, in 2011 behind Liberty High School when both of them were teens.

The latest happened on Wednesday when he violated his federal supervisory release.

Back in July, a judge ordered he could be released from jail, but on a $25,000 bond and had several conditions, including completing a 28-day program and complying with recommendations of the treatment facility regarding their six to eight-month treatment program and or continuing care. And after that, he would need to be placed on electronic monitoring.

According to the July order, there may have been other conditions already imposed, but those were not listed.
